Possibly my favorite illustration I've ever done, ever. It was for an article about a new teen magazine about - you guessed it - the Bible. A couple weeks after this article ran, Columbia's "humor" paper (did you see how I put "humor" in quotes to emphasize the ironic use of the term? Oh, the cleverness of me) ran an article about the magazine. The graphic that accompanied it was a Photoshopped magazine cover that bore a striking resemblance to this. In that instead of "Hottest Apostle" they wrote "Hottest Disciple" and everything else was the same. Innnteresting... |
