The final project for an art class I took a couple years ago was to write and illustrate at least 26 pages of a children's book (26 pages because if we couldn't think of anything else, we could at least do the alphabet).  I chose to rewrite Rapunzel from the Prince's point of view, with Rapunzel eventually getting a job as a flapper cabaret singer after her hair gets cut off and the two of them parting amicably - all written in rhyming verse.  I was quite proud of it, and would've been doubly proud if I'd given it the time it deserved rather than doing most of it the night before it was due.  Someday I'll rewrite the thing to the original length (I had to cut a lot of it to make it manageable) and redraw it.

Anyway, this, as you've probably surmised, is the Witch, my absolute favorite character design of all time.  I adore her deeply, from her ear hair to her curly shoes to her bum eye to her little traffic cone hat to her wooden spoon of random evil.  *snuggles her*
